After-school arts program for kids
exploring sound ~ exploring color ~ exploring movement
exploring sound:
We want children to be exposed to sound, music and rhythm. From using one's own voices to African drumming, our intent is to introduce children to the joy of creating sound. In our "exploring sound" classes, our teachers will provide the students with a variety of lessons - according to each teachers expertise.
exploring color:
Color on canvas. Texture on canvas. Texture on clay. We will have a variety of art teachers leading the way in our “exploring color” classes. We want the children to dive in and explore different techniques to help them increase their own creative expression.
exploring movement:
Movement through dance, yoga or tai chi. We will offer a medley of dance styles in our “exploring movement” classes. We hope to provide the children with a physical outlet that can grow with them throughout their lifetime.
